Do you remember the character Glenn, from The Wedding Singer? You know, the cocky, arrogant guy who Julia (Drew Barrymore) was dating at the time. Yeah, now it’s ringing a bell, huh? Well, I was on a good ole Friday night grocery run at the nearby Ralph’s and ran into him in the produce aisle. I had to take a second look, but once I heard his voice I knew it was him. I was so tempted to start blasting the “Miami Vice” themesong and ask him where “Julia Guglia” is. (You would only get that joke if you watched The Wedding Singer)
His real name is Matthew Glave and he’s the definition of a working actor. He’s been in so many things, most recently Stargate SG-1. He’s one of those guys that you might recognize, but could not name him. Shoot, even I had to look him up on IMDB.
It looked like he was getting ready to host a function because his cart was stocked full of party supplies. I guess it shows that even actors have to do their own shopping…
