I was right behind Mr. John Witherspoon in line while paying for some groceries at Whole Foods. Witherspoon, best known for his funny rendition of Ice Cube’s pops in the Friday series, was dressed casually in a Ralph Lauren polo shirt and shorts. He was cracking jokes as usual, and I had a flashback of him sitting on the can in Friday giving Ice Cube some fatherly advice.
